OR: Alice in Wonderland

From: Lillis Long (llong@lillislong.net) | Date: 2002-09-06 23:26:15 UTC-07:00
This is my second letterbox and a stamp that i am really proud of. If you
know the Beaverton area well this should be pretty easy, off not then i
suggest you pull out a decent street map. If you have any trouble with the
clues please feel free to ask, like i said this is only my second box!

Location: Beaverton, Washington County, Oregon
Difficulty: Medium
Terrain: Easy, easy, easy

Clues:

I found Alice in Wonderland today. It seems that the king had declared
himself a Boulevard and when Alice questioned his decision the king send an
army of cards after her. In a panic Alice asked the Cheshire cat for help
and the gave her some directions on what to do. He said, "Go to the pit of
Horseshoes and look for a four fingered oak tree. You should be safe if you
stay inside it." So she followed his directions and snuggled down beneath
the leaves, safe in the arms of the four fingered oak, hidden from the army
of cards.

Please make sure the re-hide this box well. Its location is often visited
by children.

Thanks so much!

Yes, we were the 1st, but I'd highly suggest the other PDX area
boxers go get this one for their books! :o)
